Battle Grounds Gaming Café is coming to Downtown Vancouver, WA — and we're assembling our Adventurer Party!

We're looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and dependable people to join our team as:

 

GUILD AMBASSADORS
Front of House • Barista • Retail

Starting Pay: $18/hour + Tips
Part-Time: 25–30 hours per week
4–5 shifts per week
Downtown Vancouver, Washington

 

WHAT DOES A GUILD AMBASSADOR DO?

You'll be the welcoming face of Battle Grounds Gaming Café, helping create a place where coffee lovers, board gamers, adventurers, and curious newcomers all feel at home.

 

Your daily quests will include:

• Preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, specialty beverages, and café food.

• Helping guests discover new board games, card games, and tabletop adventures.

• Assisting customers with retail purchases and game recommendations.

• Welcoming guests, managing gaming spaces, and assisting with room reservations.

• Supporting game nights, tournaments, learn-to-play sessions, and special events.

• Keeping our café, retail areas, and gaming tables clean, organized, and ready for adventure.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy helping others and creating a welcoming community.

Experience in coffee service, food service, hospitality, or retail is a plus but personality and customer service dedication are more important.

A love of tabletop gaming is fantastic, but you don't need to be a gaming expert.

What matters most is a positive attitude, reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to make guests feel welcome.

Please be able to lift up to 50lbs safely.

 

YOUR ADVENTURING SCHEDULE

Our café will operate:

• Sunday: 8 AM–5 PM

• Monday: Closed

• Tuesday: 8 AM–5 PM

• Wednesday–Saturday: 8 AM–10 PM

 

We're planning part-time positions averaging 25–30 hours per week, generally across 4–5 days, with a combination of opening, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

Availability for some evenings and weekends is important.
